I am absolutely impressed by the sustainability efforts. The garden-in-a-hotel concept not only encompasses the aesthetics part of things, this hotel is well poised for being eco friendly. The hotel installed solar panels, serve greens from their urban farm for the farm-to-table dishes in the restaurants & was recently awarded the Silver Award in the ‘Reducing Plastic Waste in the Environment’ category at the World Responsible Tourism Awards 2021 ceremony held during WTM London. Needless to say, I am sold once I saw the outdoor bathroom with a bathtub. This 34 room boutique hotel is modern, romantic for couples & uses white as the primary palette brilliantly. Although the hotel facilities are a little limited (they have a pool), the location is quiet but right smack in Orchard Road. If you also love taking photos for your social media posts, Lloyd’s Inn is the place for you. Click here to check out their website.

This is the most tranquil hotel that was transformed from a colonial garrison in the 20th century. Situated in the Labrador Nature Reserve, you will get to experience the serene atmosphere with an abundance of greenery. The rooms are upscale & elegant with an antique character. Some rooms offer wooden bathtubs & a private pool. This is perfect for anyone who wishes to experience a magical escape from Singapore's city life. Click here to visit the hotel website.
