Reaching 34 floors, the 208-room hotel celebrated its grand opening in July 2023 & is Thailand’s 1st ‘INNSiDE by Meliá’ hotel.
I had the opportunity to be the 1st to review this new property & I must say, every single aspect of my stay was PERFECT. The vibe at INNSiDE is hip & young & the infrastructure is absolutely stunning.
Welcoming Lobby & Check In
Ranging from a convenient 20 sqm to an ample 64 sqm, the hotel’s 8 accommodation categories fall under two umbrellas – ‘INNSiDE Room’ & ‘The Townhouse’. I stayed at 'The Townhouse' & was absolutely impressed by the modern features that catered to any discerning traveller like myself.
Boasting stunning city views, separate living area, bathtubs & showers, Chromecast, coffee maker & free premium minibar with local beer, ‘The Townhouse’ & ‘The Townhouse City View’ are each 40 sqm. ‘The Townhouse Two-Bedroom’ is 64 sqm.
The Townhouse
3 diverse food & beverage outlets make for the hotel’s dynamic dining landscape. Together with the hotel’s jewel in the crown, an awe-inspiring infinity pool, The Giant Swing Pool Bar commands the 34th floor. Nestled between bar & pool, a compelling contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s Brahman structure The Giant Swing is a dramatic photo backdrop.
Rooftop Terrace & Infinity Pool
Adjacent to the infinity pool is an expansive rooftop terrace, dotted with outdoor lounges & sunbeds, that evokes an Ibiza mood accompanied with panoramic vistas. Open from 10am until midnight, the open-air pool bar serves Mediterranean, Thai & international snacks & dishes such as INNSiDE’s Burger & cool beverages including imaginative cocktails.
By night, the pool bar becomes an upper-floor extension of the hotel’s 33rd floor LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar. Offering authentic tapas, Spanish wines, beer on tap, cocktails & signature sangrias, the tapas bar invites diners to embark on a culinary pilgrimage across Spain.

The tapas bar’s design, including its striking angled lines & cabling, pay tribute to another iconic Bangkok landmark, Rama VIII Bridge. Open from 4pm until midnight, LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar’s signature dishes include Suquet de Peix Amb Romesco, Fideus a la Cassola, & Tiradito Basque. I enjoyed the warmth of the staff, the ambience, the artisanal cocktails & especially the deliciously tapas that were exquisitely prepared by Chef de Cuisine Laia Ferrer.
All-day dining venue “The Kites Eatery”, open from 6.30am-11pm, serve up central, northern, north-eastern & southern Thai cuisine a la minute using quality ingredients sourced from local farms.

I enjoyed breakfast in the morning at this chic restaurant. Adorned with graphic glass walls depicting state park Sanam Luang, the Kites Eatery’s chic setting is also dominated by soaring windows giving way to stunning views of Bangkok. The hotel’s chefs serve a healthy buffet breakfast & a la carte menu from noon, as well as customised lunches & banquets for meetings & events.
Sweet Welcome Note
The hotel also offers a 24-hour Infit Gym & a concierge service. Its range of sustainability efforts are sincere & well thought of. It includes a ban on single-use plastic, recycled glass bottles for drinking water & biodegradable takeaway boxes, in-room paper, plastic free collaterals & even complimentary organic amenities.

The verdict, I love the modern type of hospitality where the service is not overbearing like the traditional establishments whereby every step you take there's a staff "watching" you. The staff at INNSiDE are all smiles & I can feel the genuine hospitality in them & that they truly care for their guests. The INNSiDE brand is quite new in Asia but I am certain it will be the brand of the future of hospitality. A lot of hard work is put into perfecting the brand values.
I would also like to highlight the perfect hospitality of Mr Anan Chaichana who contacted me when he found out I left a handphone charger behind after I checked out plus the beautiful & genuine people at INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit. PERFECT!
